Some places grow coffee, but Chelbesa grows poetry. Tucked high in the Gedeo zone, between 2,000 and 2,300 meters above sea level, the village of Danche produces coffees that are both graceful and bold. This lot is no exception.
The cherries are grown from heirloom varieties and naturally processed. After harvesting, they are carefully laid out on raised beds to dry under the sun. This slow and steady drying process allows the sweetness and floral notes to deepen, giving the coffee its layered, aromatic profile.
This cup opens with soft Lavender and Magnolia that is floral, elegant, and airy. As it warms, a ripe Mango note begins to bloom, adding juicy sweetness to the gentle bouquet. A filter coffee that feels like walking through a flower field with the sun on your back.
