from Bali is renowned for its orange-y flavour. Despite trying numerous Balinese coffees, we rarely encountered this distinctive note. Turns out, the problem is in the roasting process. Our goal was to showcase the unique flavour of Balinese coffee, emphasizing not only the aroma & flavour but also the body and pleasant aftertaste. It’s impossible to achieve that with a conventional roasting approach. This is where double roast comes in.
By double roasting, we combine two batches with different roast profiles into one final product, to capture the perfect balance in this coffee. The result is an exceptional coffee with irresistible notes of triple citrus: orange, pomelo, and lemon. The citrus flavours are balanced by a subtle sweetness, ensuring a delightful balanced experience.
To fully appreciate this coffee, we encourage you to focus on its flavour and roasting technique. By omitting details about the origin, altitude, and variety, we aim to prevent any bias from influencing your perception.
