Acai Berry, Clove
This exceptional coffee hails from Kiganjo Factory, part of the renowned Thiririka Farmers Cooperative Society (FCS), known as the biggest cooperative in Kiambu County, Kenya. Located at a high altitude of 1600-1800 meters above sea level in Kiambu County, Kiganjo Factory is committed to meticulous coffee production.
Processed washed, selective hand-sorting is done, and only the ripest cherries are handpicked to ensure the highest quality, before pulped. After pulping and being fermented for 12-14 hours, the parchment is left in the soaking tank that was taken for drying for between 7-14 days. Workers regularly turn the beans to ensure even drying.
This coffee boasts a complex flavor profile thanks to its unique blend of Batian, SL-28, SL-34, and Ruiru 11 varieties. The processing method, combined with the exceptional blend and ideal growing conditions, results in a truly remarkable coffee experience. Expect a delightful sweetness with a pleasant aftertaste, along with exciting bursts of acai berry and a hint of clove.
