The Hedonist Series - Kenya Jujube
Discover this exceptional coffee, born in an ideal high-altitude region blessed with rich soils and a clever irrigation system fed by dams and rivers. This coffee is a mix of resilient, drought-tolerant varietals expertly developed by Scott Labs that thrives in the lush environment of Kiambu, Kenya.
This special lot undergoes a natural process: only the ripest cherries are hand-picked and meticulously sorted before being gently fermented in water for 12 hours. Finally, they are sun-dried on raised beds for 4-5 weeks until the perfect moisture level is reached. Once dried, these precious beans are carefully stored before being hulled, polished, and prepared for their journey to your cup. When we cupped it, we noted a dominant Jujube flavour with the juiciness of Red Apple, finishing with a hint of Tamarind. You will be pleased!
