This exceptional coffee hails from Mchana Estate. Located at an altitude of 1600-1766 meters above sea level in Kiambu County, by Coffee Managements Services that is dedicated to meticulous coffee production.
Selectively hand-sorted, only the ripest cherries are handpicked to ensure the highest quality before carefully processed. The cherries are then fermented in water for 12 hours to breakdown the external fruit layer. Once complete, the cherries are moved to raised beds to dry in the open sun for 4 to 5 weeks. Workers regularly turn the beans to ensure even drying.
The processing method, combined with the exceptional blend and ideal growing conditions, results in a truly remarkable coffee experience. Expect a delightful sweetness with a pleasant aftertaste, accompanied by exciting bursts of Apple and Blackberry, and a long-lasting sweetness reminiscent of Chrysanthemum.
