Ethiopia, where do we start? There’s always something special about Ethiopian coffees, and this coffee is no exception. Especially if it is washed. Who doesn’t love Ethiopian-washed coffee?
This coffee is produced by Tasyefe Bekele. He owns Tade GG, a private farm located in Shakiso, Guji zone, Ethiopia. He is so passionate about coffee farming that he has traveled throughout Central and South America to visit coffee plantations and learn various methods of cultivation and processing. His passion and hard work paid off because he won third place in the Ethiopian Cup of Excellence 2021.
At the washing station, the washed coffees are pulped with an Agared machine. This is a pulper that has no mucilage remover. The coffee beans are fermented for about 35-48 hours in fermentation tanks. Then, washed in clean water to remove all the mucilage. We get all the characteristics we love about a washed Ethiopia. It is fragrant-rich, sweet, and velvety mouthfeel. Another amazing coffee that you can enjoy at any time of the day.
