Nestled high in the Guji Highlands of Ethiopia, the Raro Coffee Processing Station sits at a staggering 2470 meters above sea level. Imagine this: crisp mornings kissed by cold winds, bathed in sunshine all day long - a truly unique growing and processing environment that fosters exceptional coffee.
Over 1500 passionate farmers in the region entrust their cherries to Uraga Raro. Here, meticulous cherry sorting ensures only the ripest cherries are processed. The cherry was then washed and finally dried in patios. The process results in a cup that celebrates the very best of Guji.
Kelloo, meaning "yellow" in Oromiffa, perfectly captures the essence of this coffee. Expect a vibrant explosion of flavor, bursting with notes of cranberry, delicate jasmine, and a hint of chrysanthemum. It's like biting into a ripe, sun-drenched fruit, with a touch of floral elegance.
